So glad we found the Patio Caddy

We are an older couple,retired, have a small deck. We did not want a big gas grill taking up most of our space, We did not want to be bothered with the time and mess that goes with a smaller charcoal grill. When we found the Patio Caddy(a friend had one) we could not wait to order it and use it very often. It heats fast ,cooks in a hurry and cools down fast. It is great and just perfect for us. Liked it so much we bought one as a gift for a single daughter. It's easy for her to operate and she loves it too.

It works for us!

My fiance and I were looking in vain for a gas grill that could fit on our back deck.. shared with two neighbors in the middle of the city. Needless to say, there's not a lot of room. All of the grills we found were monstrous! Some friends suggested looking on the web-- and that's what brought us to Amazon and the Patio Caddie! We are quite happy with it: it suits our needs perfectly. It heats up quickly and cooks up the steaks and the turkey burgers just great. We, too, got the larger sized gas canister-- that's working well. We've been warned not to get the intended cover, so we're trying to figure out what we should get to cover it up -- at least during the harsh Chicago winter. In the meantime, we're happy grillers and our neighbors are thrilled too! (The other downside would be the lid issue-- where to put it..? The clips are awkward to use.)

Patio Caddie

I was attracted to this grill because of its small footprint and compact design-- something I need on my very small porch. The assembly directions were great and easy to follow. I love the thermometer in the lid; it helps to get a handle on how quickly food will cook. I do wish there were a hook and loop arrangement so I could hang the lid on the side of the grill while attending to the food. My only option is to set the lid on the patio floor. Food (chicken) cooked nicely and I look forward to trying more recipies.

this weber cover is as great as the new grill is! heavy duty with velcro straps...it has stayed on during our monsoon season...what else is there to say?

Got a rip

I have the Performer Grill and wanted to have the perfect protector for it, but I have had it for under a month and already have a rip in it and a few scratches. We are careful not to keep it near the grill while it is hot, but I noticed the whole in it when I was covering it. That being said, it does what it is supposed to.

Great Cover - Not Embroidered

I got this to protect the investment I just made on my Weber Performer Grill. This is hands down the best grill I have ever owned, and it would be a shame to let the elements have their way with it. The cover is super durable and should easily last as long as the grill if not longer. It also fits like a glove, and has a velcro strap on the bottom to tighten it up and ensure it's not going anywhere. I was excited to read that the weber logo was embroiderd on it, as an embroidered logo is infinitely nicer than a screened on one. Unfortunately, when the cover arrived, I was a bit disappointed to find that it was a standard screened logo and not embroidered. I know it's a silly thing to gripe about, and it in no way affects the usefulness of the cover, but I thought anyone who's going to buy this should know. Overall a great buy and I could only be marginally happier.

GREAT COVER-UP

The Weber 9850 Premium Gas Grill Cover is a perfect fit for the Genesis Gold C. I had received the grill as a freebie using American Express points. I wanted to protect my new grill and thus I ordered this grill cover. The fit is excellent. During a recent hurricane in this region, the cover remained intact and kept water off the grill. Great product.

Great Material, Great Fit... Questioning the "Vents"

This grill cover fits my Genesis Gold B grill (2005) wonderfully. The heavy plastic material is durable. The vents are my concern. Not only does rain go through both vents, the water then drips down along the front and rear of the grill, pooling in the storage cabinet area below (which is made of coated steel on the Gold B, and will eventually corrode). Be aware of these vents before purchase-- they WILL allow water to enter. They could be better placed to prevent this from happening, but they're not. To shell out $55 for a grill cover-- designed by the manufacturer of the grill-- there is no excuse for this design "flaw".

Got you covered

I purchased the Premium cover to fit my Genesis Silver C grill and it is a perfect fit. I could not believe the quality of the cover when I took it out of the package. It has a very nice vent built into it right in front where the handle is so if rain was to get into the vent, the water would only pass through to the ground. Very good idea. You can adjust the cover by the velcro straps so even a hurricane will not blow it off the grill. I do not see myself buying another premium grill cover again only because I expect this cover will last as long as the grill itself and that will be a long, long time. The Weber Logo sits right in front of the cover giving the grill a touch of class. Weber does it again. They are the best. WEBER RULES THE BBQ WORLD!
