Exactly what I ordered....good quality product and at a very reasonable price. They also had very prompt service and delivery...I recommend buying this set!

Excedes the price I paid

Ok so I got it on sale here for 29 bucks. But even at a higher price this is a great package for the on the road griller. Everything you need in a nice case. Quality stainless steel tools. What more can you ask for? Ignore the clueless reviewer from Chicago (a little tip for you my dear...if you receive a broken product you send it back for replacement)

Great Product!

This product is great. I've only used it twice, but it is a really cool product and works great. I highly recommend it.

Great product

I commonly cook overnight for long smokes. This thermometer is great. I second the opinions of the other reviewers.

There are only 2 reasons I don't give this 5 stars:
1) The receiver must be turned on first, then the transmitter. So, if you do lose signal, you can't just power cycle the receiver, you have to go out and power cycle the transmitter too.

2) When the unit loses signal (it happens..it's a radio), you cannot set it it alarm!! So, if I'm cooking overnight, and the unit loses signal, I sleep all night without knowing that the pit temperature is still in the right range. I really wish it would alarm when it loses signal.

However, those 2 things aside (these are minor), I still give it 4 stars and would not want to live without it.

Excellent product. I don't have any range problems

Despite mixed reviews, I purchased a Maverick Remote Smoker (dual probe) Thermometer (Model ET-73) and just received it today. The biggest complaint I found online was in regard to its range. One review stated that they have fixed this problem in newer manufacturing batches so I took a chance.

It looks like it paid off. I'm getting excellent range from one side of my house to the other, upstairs, downstairs, outside, and in the basement. I was really surprised and very glad I made this purchase. The temps for both probes are dead on.

I think I can say that I highly recommend this unit without having even cooked with it yet. Especially considering the only negative feedback I've read was in regard to the range and I'm not having that problem at all.

Looking for a grill cover for your George Forman!!

Well, look no further. My apartment complex doesn't allow any type of charcol or gas grills but electric is allowed. I was going crazy trying to find one that would fit my George Forman Kettle Grill - I didn't want to lug it in and out all summer. So, I took a gamble and ordered this grill cover and it fits perfectly! I can now leave my George Forman Kettle Grill on my deck and not have to worry about the elements!

This versatile system forecasts local weather; automatically sets and updates the time, day, and date; keeps track of the indoor temperature; and employs a remote, wireless sensor to record the outdoor temperature up to 100 feet away. For forecasting weather within 12 to 24 hours, the 6-1/4-by-4-1/4-inch monitor employs a built-in electronic barometric-pressure sensor and then displays the upcoming weather with an icon (sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rain/snow) on its backlit LCD screen. For keeping track of time, the monitor is equipped with a radio receiver tuned to the U.S. atomic clock; this enables the monitor to maintain split-second accuracy by automatically adjusting, if necessary, to the atomic clock's signals six times every 24 hours. From those signals, the monitor also displays the date, the day, and the time zone for which the user has set the clock. Also, the clock automatically adjusts for daylight saving time and for leap year. The monitor beams the time and the outdoor temperature onto a wall or ceiling in large, red numerals for easy readability. If the monitor is in battery-mode (four AA batteries included), pressing the clock's snooze bar will beam the data for five seconds. If the monitor is plugged into a wall socket with an AC adapter (included), the projection will be available either for five seconds with the snooze bar or continuously if a continuous-beam control is set. The projection beam comes from a device mounted next to the clock. The device pivots so the beam can be projected onto any surface, and a dial focuses the beam for clarity. Build a reliable cloack and they will come

My wife and I loved this clock. We bought two for our family and one for our parents. The first one died(straight line output) after about a year and one-half. The second one died less than a year. The projection of the time and display of outdoor temperature while laying in bed is great. We really miss it. Agree with other reviewers that the clock should be able to run continuously on AC power with blue light background. Note to entrepreneur: build a more reliable clock with suggested features and they will come.

amazing forecast accuracy

I would give this a 5 star rating but for two things: When the unit is plugged into the AC, I think the backlight should be able to be turned on and stay on, like the projection - and the screws are extremely tiny to access battery compartments and even the AC adapter plug-in is covered with a screwed on plastic cover. Yet I must say the forcasting icons displayed are more accurate than the local weather news channels.
The company should include a jeweler's screwdriver if they are to continue placing the reset buttons and incredibly, the power supply jack, under a cover.

Projection clock with weather forecaster

I just ordered this clock for my husband and he is thrilled with it..
The time and outside temperature is displayed in nice big letters on either the wall or ceiling and the price was fantastic .
I had priced one almost like it for twice the price, and the quality on this one was just as good..
I would highly recommend this clock and I May buy some for gifts for my grown kids at Christmas time.
